Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Perx Community
The Perx Community is a space where you can connect with people on the same journey as you, support each other and celebrate milestones - from running half an hour in the morning to hitting a 100-day streak! We have a few important guidelines to help keep the community welcoming and safe for members to share openly, without fear of being judged or treated unfairly.
Respect Each Other’s Privacy
Everyone is free to share as much as they want to in the community. We'll encourage everyone to participate because we know the value of the community comes from being able to share, hear and be heard, but you decide how much you want to put into the community.
Be Supportive
Our big goal for the community is to enable connections between people who want to be healthier, so they could support each other and share their journeys. Everyone is fighting their own battles so remember: support each other, be kind, and help us keep the community awesome!
No Hate Speech, Bullying or Profanity
Help us make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexuality or medical condition won't be tolerated. Profanity and offensive language will not be tolerated. Posts that violate these guidelines will be promptly closed or removed, and repeat violators will be removed from the group.
This is a Public Forum
This is a public forum, so all posts are public and open for others to see. Anything you post in this community will be identified by your username. You can easily change this username by going to Account -> Edit Profile.
Help Us Create a Positive and Awesome Community
Though we understand everyone has had hard times, in this community we want to focus on the positive part of every day, on that thing that made us smile and that moment we felt happy. Let's spread a positive mindset!
We want to see the community flourish into a supportive environment for everyone, as such if someone breaches the guidelines above our moderator may step in, and if necessary remove that individual from the group. Please also note that any posts that do not align with the community topics may be removed. We may also remove posts that advertise products, services, events or research.
